Office Manager
Marla
Before joining our clinic in 2013, Marla spent many years assisting people with their finances and supervising a team. She enjoys working with computer systems and takes pride in keeping our data accurate and well-organized. Marla plays a key role in maintaining the efficiency of our clinic and ensuring that every patient receives the best possible experience. She also enjoys building relationships with patients and is always happy to help in any way she can.

Receptionist
Lamanda
Lamanda moved to Saskatoon from Moose Jaw in 2018, bringing with her a positive attitude and many years of customer service experience. She is known for her patient and caring approach with our patients, always striving to make them feel comfortable and supported. Lamanda is also a proud mother of four and enjoys spending quality time with her family—going for walks, visiting the park, swimming, and having movie nights together.

Receptionist
Anne
Anne joined our clinic in November 2023 and is passionate about helping patients have a positive and welcoming experience during their visits. She brings strong administrative experience and excellent problem-solving skills to our team, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the clinic. Anne is a devoted wife and mother to two grown sons. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends—all while working through her bucket list adventures.

Registered Dental Assistant
Dempsie
Dempsie is originally from Prince Albert and graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2021 with a Certificate in Dental Assisting. Inspired by a family member in the dental field, she chose to pursue a career in dentistry and brings enthusiasm, care, and a proactive attitude to her role at the clinic. She takes initiative to ensure patients feel comfortable and that each visit runs smoothly.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Dempsie at the lake—swimming, fishing, or relaxing on the beach. She loves spending time with her family and pets back home in Prince Albert, whom she visits regularly. An avid golfer (especially when the UV index is above 5), she also enjoys crocheting, often curled up on the couch watching her favorite shows.

Registered Dental Assistant
Kyla
Kyla knew from the young age of eight that she wanted to pursue a career in the dental field. She grew up on a small acreage just north of Warman and brings a compassionate, patient-focused approach to her work. Before completing her Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification, Kyla earned her Care Aide qualification and spent several years working in a care home facility, where she developed strong skills in patient care and support.

In her free time, Kyla, a dedicated mom, enjoys fishing and snowmobiling at the lake with her friends and family.

Dental Aide
Marta
Marta holds a degree in nursing and has extensive experience working as a Dental Nurse. Born and raised in Ukraine, she moved to Canada with her family and joined the Guardian Dental Care team in 2012. Committed to continuous professional development, Marta consistently seeks to expand her skills and knowledge. ​In addition to her nursing background, Marta is passionate about her work as a Dental Aide. She prioritizes providing high-quality dental care, ensuring patients feel comfortable and confident in the service they receive.
In her spare time, Marta enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and spending time with her sons.

Dental Sterilization Aide
Anna
Anna immigrated to Canada from the Philippines in 2011. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and has over five years of experience as a Dental Sterilization Aide. Known for her efficiency and strong teamwork skills, Anna plays an important role in maintaining a smooth and effective clinical environment.

Anna is a devoted mother to a young son and enjoys spending quality time with him and their family. In her free time, she loves singing karaoke and playing volleyball.

Registered Dental Hygienist
Jessie
Jessie was born and raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. After working as a Clinical Assistant for three years, she explored a different career path and spent three years employed as a Pharmacy Assistant. Realizing her passion for dentistry, Jessie returned to the field and graduated with a Dental Hygiene diploma with Great Distinction in 2011.

As a skilled Dental Hygienist, Jessie is known for her thorough and gentle care, which her patients greatly appreciate. She is excited to welcome clients at Guardian Dental Care and is dedicated to helping them achieve optimal oral health.

Registered Dental Hygienist
Candace
Candace began her dental journey as a Dental Assistant in 1989 through the Northern Dental Program. She returned to school to pursue a diploma in Dental Hygiene while simultaneously managing motherhood—a challenge made even greater by having twin boys during her first semester.

Candace believes that your smile is your superpower, and she has traveled internationally to help others improve theirs. She has volunteered in the Philippines, Vietnam, and Nepal.

Dental Therapist/RDA
Kristal
Kristal’s dental career began in 2000 when she enrolled as a Dental Assistant at Sask Polytech in Regina. She quickly developed a passion for all aspects of dental care.

In 2005, Kristal expanded her skills by attending the National School of Dental Therapy at the First Nations University in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Providing dental treatment to community members of all ages was both a rewarding professional and cultural experience for her. Her combined experience in both dental therapy and assisting is a valuable asset, allowing her to offer comprehensive support to patients and the dental team.

Business Manager
Eunice
Eunice has been with our clinic since 2018, supporting recruitment, employee development, marketing, and business operations. She works closely with our Office Manager to enhance both team performance and patient satisfaction.
Additionally, Eunice provides vital support to Dr. Knudsen in managing clinic operations and continuously seeks opportunities to improve overall efficiency and boost team morale.
